I strongly believe that it is not just about trying that new activity, or challenging ourselves, but the feel-good effect that goes way beyond it.
How often do we shy away from trying something new but then surprise ourselves with how much we enjoy it when we do climb out of our comfort zone? Stretching ourselves in this way is also shown to reap benefits in many other areas of our lives, empowering us and giving us more confidence.
