Personalised Training that Fits Your Life

Whether you want hands-on guidance every week or prefer to train independently with expert support behind you, I’ll create a programme that works for your body, your goals, and your schedule.
Most people assume personal training means meeting face-to-face every week. That’s one option – and it works brilliantly for some. But for many women, a hybrid approach makes more sense: you get the personalised programming and ongoing support, while building the knowledge and confidence to train independently.
My goal isn’t to make you dependent on me. It’s to empower you with the understanding of why you’re doing what you’re doing, so you can own your training for life.

Why Work with Me?
As a Level 3 Personal Trainer, IRONMAN Certified Coach, and menopause specialist (trained via the  Dr Stacy Sims programme), I understand how female physiology changes through every life stage. Your programme will be designed around you – your hormonal fluctuations, your lifestyle, your existing niggles, and your goals.
Beyond the exercises themselves, I’ll share the knowledge that helps you make informed choices: why protein timing matters, how to adapt training around your cycle or symptoms, and what to prioritise as your body changes.

How We Can Work Together
Option 1: Regular Face-to-Face Sessions
Weekly or fortnightly sessions at your home, outdoors, or in a location of your choice. Ideal if you want hands-on coaching, prefer someone alongside you for accountability, or are working through specific technique challenges.
  • Introductory session (including assessment): £70
  • Ongoing sessions: from £65 each (packages available)
  • 15% discount for Blue Light/Emergency Service workers

Option 2: Supported Training (Hybrid)
You train independently using a bespoke programme delivered via TrainingPeaks, with my ongoing support through the training diary. We stay connected – you log your sessions, ask questions, and I adjust your programme as you progress.
This works brilliantly if you:
  • Live further afield or have a busy/unpredictable schedule
  • Want to build confidence training at home or in your local gym
  • Prefer to invest in fewer face-to-face sessions but still have expert guidance
How it works:
  • Initial face-to-face assessment and setup session (£70)
  • Personalised programme via TrainingPeaks with exercise videos and instructions (£80/month)
  • Ongoing diary support and programme adjustments
  • Add occasional face-to-face sessions (£65 each) when you want a form check, a gym familiarisation session, or just that in-person boost.
Optional online form check/calls: £30 for 40 minutes

Option 3: Independent Training
For those who want the programme and initial setup but prefer to fly solo. You’ll get everything you need to train confidently on your own, with the option to reach out if questions arise.
  • Initial assessment and setup session: £70
  • Bespoke programme via TrainingPeaks + diary support: £80/month
  • Ad-hoc sessions available if needed

But I don't have any kit?
This definitely isn't a barrier! I can help you to work with whatever you have at home (it is amazing how you can adapt a rucksack etc) or help direct you to some essential kits to help your strength which will cost no more than £40 - £60.

Add Nutrition Support
Training and nutrition go hand-in-hand, especially during perimenopause and menopause. Add practical nutritional guidance alongside your programme for an additional £30/month – or ask about my 6-Week Personal Body Reset for a deeper dive.


Where I Work
I’m based in North West London but work with clients across the capital and – through the hybrid model – across Europe. Sessions can be outdoors, at your home, in a private studio, or online. No battling for space in a public gym!

Denise has helped me immeasurably over the last 6 months. I was feeling pretty miserable for several months as life had become extremely busy and stressful. I had stopped exercising, had gained weight and my joints were stiffer and more painful than ever (I have osteoarthritis in several joints). Not to mention the menopause!! (I am 55). The aches and pains stopped me from exercising, as I would start a class, or attempt a jog, and one pain or another would kick in, and I would give up deflated. I despaired about being able to exercise properly again, and I became insecure and demotivated.
Deciding to work out with Denise has changed my life: my body, my confidence, and has also given me hope that I can be fit and healthy into my future. I can see some muscle definition in my arms! Not something I have seen since my thirties. Denise helped me to understand how I need to eat to exercise effectively, and eat lots of protein, especially straight after a workout. She has taught me about the importance of lifting heavy loads, particularly as I have osteopenia. And as I am prone to aches and pains because of the arthritis, she has always been able to vary the exercises to accommodate these. In doing so, I have been able to continue to work out and have therefore become fitter and stronger, even in the joints that are most painful. So I can now lift my heavy frying pan with one hand and can unscrew jars! I also had some blood tests recently and my cholesterol and other lipid markers are all improved, as well as my blood sugar. Denise also sends me articles about health or nutrition that I may be interested in, or can offer advice herself.
I am very grateful to Denise – she has travelled on my journey with me to becoming a fitter, happier and healthier me!

I was slightly nervous about my first session with Denise but it was spot on! She really listened to my needs, explaining how exercises should be performed and paid great attention to my form, noting improvements with encouragement. I will definitely be training with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone new to working out, and also to more experienced athletes with specific goals. Just writing this before I head off to the gym to do my HIIT session. 
​I've experienced many benefits from having Denise as my coach.  Not least, her energy, passion, insight and personal achievements inspire me beyond words but also she really shoe horned me out of a bit of a rut that I found myself in during the pandemic.
I have a long history of exercise that includes weight training, triathlon, marathon running, climbing, dance and open water swimming but during the pandemic I sort of lost my mojo.   Life events, isolation and menopause conspired to make me tired, slumpy and strangely lacking in confidence.  My body was changing and I didn't like how I was feeling at all.   A knee injury meant I could no longer go running and I simply lost my drive and motivation.  I was nervous about picking up weights again and even going to a gym as I worried about making my injury worse or just simply not knowing what to do with the changes my body was undergoing.  
A session in the gym and a HIIT session on my decking with Denise got me fired up again.  Muscle memory fired up again and I started really enjoying the sessions again.  Not just feeling physically fit but having that emotional/ mental outlet that was so much needed in this  challenging life stage in which I was navigating a teenager, elderly parent, running my own business and my changing physiology.   Thank you so much Denise!  Off to the gym now!

 With Denise’s help I discovered how to find empowerment in my fear, how to tap into my inner potential, how to celebrate every step along the way, how to see victory in every stroke on the bike.  I found resilience, and the most important of all, I found the joy that I was seeking, the confidence to simply try, the desire to try many times and get it wrong many times until one day I get it right.  Denise focused a lot of time at the beginning to make sure I went deep into my motivation, to understand how my mind operates, what to do when I have doubts, how to keep me on track.  
Alongside developing my mental strength, Denise has provided me with a very holistic approach to training, full of creativity and variety to keep it interesting whilst developing all the necessary elements.  From nutrition, to age related (peri menopausal) issues, stretching, TRX, yoga, mobility, HRV, there is always something new to explore and learn whilst keeping the main theme consistent. 
I was thrilled to have ridden 50km in 2017.  In 2022 I completed the Mallorca 225, and I know I wouldn’t be here without Denise.

Denise has been coaching me in triathlon  after I came across her website.

The best thing I’ve done for myself in years was to contact  Denise! 
Whilst chatting with a cycling friend she mentioned she’d been working with a coach to help her cycling and strength/conditioning.  As a keen ‘mature’ cyclist I found I was in a rut so followed suit and contacted Denise for a chat to talk about her offerings. 
During that first call I knew that Denise was the right person to help me. Denise took time to understand that I wanted to be stronger and fitter on the bike. The weekly bespoke comprehensive training plan in training peaks was ideal.  Denise is a brilliant communicator and collaborative as to what I could manage each week.  Her support and encouragement for the past six months has made a huge difference.
