I was slightly nervous about my first session with Denise but it was spot on! She really listened to my needs, explaining how exercises should be performed and paid great attention to my form, noting improvements with encouragement. I will definitely be training with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone new to working out, and also to more experienced athletes with specific goals. As Denise trains extensively herself she has first-hand knowledge of the science behind training and a very personal and professional touch.

I took part in one of Denise's online coaching sessions. I wasn't quite sure about having exercising online but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a great session, Denise told me what equipment to have beforehand (free weights etc. if I wanted them) so that I was prepared in advance. The exercises were adapted around a couple of injuries I had, and the sessions overall was well planned out. I really enjoyed it! With Denise’s help I discovered how to find empowerment in my fear, how to tap into my inner potential, how to celebrate every step along the way, how to see victory in every stroke on the bike. I found resilience, and the most important of all, I found the joy that I was seeking, the confidence to simply try, the desire to try many times and get it wrong many times until one day I get it right. Denise focused a lot of time at the beginning to make sure I went deep into my motivation, to understand how my mind operates, what to do when I have doubts, how to keep me on track.
Alongside developing my mental strength, Denise has provided me with a very holistic approach to training, full of creativity and variety to keep it interesting whilst developing all the necessary elements. From nutrition, to age related (peri menopausal) issues, stretching, TRX, yoga, mobility, HRV, there is always something new to explore and learn whilst keeping the main theme consistent.
I was thrilled to have ridden 50km in 2017. In 2022 I completed the Mallorca 225, and I know I wouldn’t be here without Denise.

The best thing I’ve done for myself in years was to contact Denise!
Whilst chatting with a cycling friend she mentioned she’d been working with a coach to help her cycling and strength/conditioning. As a keen ‘mature’ cyclist I found I was in a rut so followed suit and contacted Denise for a chat to talk about her offerings.
During that first call I knew that Denise was the right person to help me. Denise took time to understand that I wanted to be stronger and fitter on the bike.
